Description

Pot with high everted rim, narrow neck, low wide shoulder and flat base. Decorated below neck with a horizontal undecorated cordon followed by a horizontal shallow groove, a row of stamps and two further shallow grooves. The shoulder has a row of stamps intersected by prominent short vertical bosses with a vertical deep groove down the centre. Either side of these bosses is decorated with two shallow vertical grooves. Two types of stamp used. Two parts of the rim missing.
