Description

Gently shouldered pot with everted rim and flat base. Decorated with two bands of chevrons above and below shoulder, separated by a band of slanted grooved lines. Between the chevrons are vertical lines of short horizontal grooves. Poorly reconstructed from sherds; two sherds detached but present.

Description (Physical description)
Small cremation urn of globular form, flattened base, blackish ware. Neck decorated with a band of incised zig zag, the chevrons formed by these being filled with a series of short horizontal incisions. Ring of short oblique lines at shoulder, with similar chevron design below. Anglian type.
