Description (Physical description)
Black glazed Thistle Tyg (necked cup) with two opposed strap handles. Wide mouth with upright rim sits atop a deep tapered neck; two small opposed strap handles attach at neck and body; rounded body; slightly frilled base. Dark brownish black glaze with vertical streaking applied to interior and exterior of vessel. Wire marks on underside of base; chipping on base. Part of rim reconstructed with plaster infill.
