Description

Heavy mortar of copper alloy. Flared rim, with a raised ridge on the top; slightly tapering sides, flaring near the bottom; flat base, with slightly domed circular piece of copper alloy welded to the bottom. The body is decorated above the flaring with a pattern of alternating acorn motifs and lion motifs.
