Description

Domed bridle boss of copper alloy with two rivet holes opposite each other and depicting a person on a horse in the domed centre which is surrounded by a rope decoration as well as sixteen triangular projections with dotted decoration. Worn surface.

On 20th February 2015 Dr Helen Geake remarked that some of this object may be a horse harness mount possibly dating to the 17th century. Both the name and period fields have been updated accordingly.
