Description
Iron fetterlock with steel key. U-shaped shackle with flat, slightly concave cross-section; cylindrical lock body with slanted ends and a shield-shaped end plate to which the shackle is hinged and through which the keyhole is cut; keyhole resembles a backward facing, angular ‘Y’. Key features a cylindrical handle perpendicular to the shaft and bit; fashioned from a single thin steel plate, folded and bent.
