Description (CMS Description)
Half of a hand made, round shouldered urn. Slightly flattened base. Decorated at neck with a chevron design made with the teeth of a fine comb. This pattern is between parallel horizontal lines. Another band of ornament between parallel lines encircles the shoulder. This is unusual, alternate circles are plain and the others criss crossed with dots made with ?comb teeth. About 16 of these circles were contained in this band.
