Description

Small brooch. Circular shape and slightly domed, decorated with a white central dot, a trace of gilding around this; a ring of red enamel with spiral gilt; surrounded by an outer band of white circles; also with opposing trefoil projections, one with red enamel intact inside each circle; two small knops perpendicular to these. The reverse is plain, with an open loop on one trefoil and a small hinge on the other; where the missing pin would have fastened.
