Description
Wooden rat trap, consisting of; 'bender stick' a naturally shaped branch of wood carved to a point at one end; two additional sticks of wood with carved scarf joints and grooves, the smallest of which has a thin wire wrapped around one joint. The three pieces are tied together with twine.

1926.227-229 were originally collectes as part of the archaeology collection, however, as they were collected by Ridgeway from the trapper who was using them they should be part of the anthropology collection. The department field has been updated accordingly.
