Context (Amendments / updates)
The Period field was given as 'Iron Age'; although it is possible that another Iron Age object was included in this grave (see 1948.1523), it is more likely that this was an error. The catalogue card does not give this information, and the Place has therefore been updated to 'Anglo Saxon'.
