Description

Large globular pot with high upright rim and flat base. Decorated around the neck with a band of stamps bound between two sets of three horizontal parallel grooves. Below are pendant triangles filled with stamps and framed on each side by long vertical bosses with three vertical grooves on either side. Small chip in rim.

Big, globular cremation urn. Rounded base. Plain rim. Neck, band of stamped impression between parallel grooves. Shoulder, 4 raised vertical ribs. Between these, panels decorated with stamp and enclosed in engraved ' swags' . Anglian type.
