Description

Shouldered pot with narrow mouth, everted rim and flattened base. Decorated with between nine and eleven grooved lines above shoulder. Band of stamps around shoulder. Seven long vertical bosses around shoulder extending to lower body, each with two vertical grooved lines either side. One long crack from rim to base.

Large. Blackish brown ware, flattened foot. Seven embossed strips placed vertically from the shoulder. Neck decorated with horizontal grooves. A row of circular depressions encircle the base of the neck. Cremation urn; Complete.
