Description

A plaster pelican in relief. The bird’s neck is bending low, possibly depicting the Christian symbol of a mother pelican feeding its young from its breast, the lower part is detached and missing. The whole piece is encased in a wooden display box with a glass frontage. Some patches of blue pigment are present on the surface of the bird.
