Context (Field collection)
Found in Grave 92, lying against the right arm, with a bronze buckle, Anglo Saxon cemetery. Excavated by Lethbridge.T.C in 1928: All this skeleton, save the head, shoulders and right arm had been dug away, probably during agricultural operations. By good fortune the bronze buckle and counter plate and an iron knife had been lying against the right arm and had escaped destruction.
