Description
Undecorated copper alloy buckle and connecting plate. The buckle [.1] has an oval frame, closed loop pin, upperplate and underplate with frame recesses which is riveted together by two rivets. The connecting plate [.2] is flat and trapezoidal in shape with an oval hole and three rivet holes; one rivet intact.

Found in Grave 92, lying against the right arm, with an iron knife, Anglo Saxon cemetery; Excavated by Lethbridge.T.C in 1928: All this skeleton, save the head, shoulders and right arm had been dug away, probably during agricultural operations. By good fortune the bronze buckle and counter plate and an iron knife had been lying against the right arm and had escaped destruction.
