Description (Physical description)
Large grey flint handaxe, roughly chipped
Event Date 2011
Author: Imogen Gunn (admin)

Context (Amendments / updates)
Dr. Catherine Frieman, University of Oxford, examined this object in September 2011 and identified it as a Palaeolithic handaxe rather than a Neolithic pick or dagger. 'Neolithic' has therefore been removed from the Period field and the Description updated accordingly.
