Description

Green glazed globular jug. Squared simple rim with a wide neck and a single strap handle affixed with four deep thumbing marks and decorated down its length with four incised stab marks. Round body with three incised horizontal lines across its surface. Obtuse basal angle with a sagging bottom, small hole in body and chip to the edge of the rim. Partial green glaze across the top of the surface. Grey fabric.

Jug, crock; round-bodied with 3 lines round shoulder. Strap handle with double thumb impression at top and bottom. Sagging base with 4 thumb impressions. Green glaze on upper two-thirds.
