Context (Amendments / updates)
This was previously described as a 'Beaker Knife'. In October 2017 it was examined by Melissa Metzger, PhD candidate at the University of Bradford who is conducting research on discoidal Beaker knives. She notes that this object has no polished edges, which therefore does not meet the criteria as a discoidal Beaker knife, and nor is it in the shape of a Beaker dagger. It would be more accurately described as a scraper or knife, rather than a Beaker knife. The Description has been updated accordingly.
