Description
Pewter snuff box with four side decorated with panels of a floral running dog pattern. On the hinged lid is a framed panel with an applied wax paper, now brittle and tinged green, as well as a protruding flat handle in the centre of the long side opposite the hinge; the surface of the bottom of the box is heavily worn but shows remains of a foliate frame around the edges. No decoration on the inside.
