An old label was found loose with Z 11442, but probably belongs with 1898.611 A due to the similarity with the label adhered to 1898.611 B. The label reads: 'Sung Kei. B. Padang. Perak.'

Description (Physical description)
Small adze, possibly made of basalt, with partially ground faces and polished sides. Rectangular in shape, with a curved, slightly beaked, cutting edge, and a squared butt. Cross section is thick and sub-rectangular.

This object is marked with two accession numbers: 1899.13 a and 1898.611 A. The object was accessioned on 25th January 1899, and entered into the accession register as 1899.13 a. However, a note added to the accession register reads: '(1899) [but included in the 1898 list]'. The accession numbers were consequently amended on 23/01/1980, with 1899.13 a being changed to 1898.611 A. The accession number and MAA number fields have been updated accordingly.
