Description

Adze made of a ground, fine grained, grey coloured stone, possibly mudstone or slate. Trapezoid form, with a sub-rectangular cross-section, a curved cutting edge, and a rounded butt. The adze is thicker at the butt end, and gradually thins towards the cutting edge.
