Adze or chisel made of a ground, black coloured stone, possibly shale or slate. Elongated form with a trapezoid shaped cross-section. Slightly curved cutting edge with a broad bevel, and a slightly curved butt. The stone has natural fissures. Possibly used as a thunderstone.
