Context (Other)
According to Neville's article, two iron ferrules were found at Linton Heath: one from grave 34 and one from grave 64. The former has been identified as 1948.1560, the latter has not yet been identified. However, it is illustrated in the Archaeological Journal and does not match this ferrule. It is possible that Neville did not record all ferrules in his article, but at present this object should only very tentatively be considered to be from Linton Heath.
