Description
Copper alloy applied saucer brooch with gilt stamped foil; flat disc without raised perimeter. Decorated with two concentric punched circles around the border with Style I zoomorphic ornament in low relief between; central cruciform motif, each arm decorated with a human mask and zoomorphic ornament between arms. The gilt plate is fragmentary, missing most of outer band. Damaged pin bar lug and intact catchplate present on reverse, each has been inserted through a slot in the backplate and secured like a split pin.

A bronze circular brooch with applied embossed gilt plate, now very fragmentary. Iron pin missing. Central design radiates from boss with grotesque marks in the triangular panels formed by radiating lines. Ring of interlaced zoomorphic design outside this, encircled by plain band
