Description
Cast copper alloy small long brooch of trefoil headed type. Trapezoidal headplate decorated with scalloped punchmarks, with flat half-crescent top and side knobs. High-arched bow with rectangular section areas at top and bottom decorated with punchmarks. The foot is decorated with transverse grooved lines, flaring to a triangular terminal decorated with punchmarks. On the reverse are the remains of the pin bar lug and catchplate. Small fragment of iron pin corroded to the catchplate.
