Description
Cast copper alloy cruciform brooch. Trapezoidal central panel with flared rectangular wings with half round top and side knobs. High-arched bow with sub-rectangular section areas at top and bottom. Trapezoidal flat panel with sub-rectangular lappets. Top of foot decorated with transverse grooved lines. Horse head foot with grooved brows, protruding eyes and flaring nostrils and rounded lip terminal. On reverse the catchplate is present; pin and pin bar lug missing. Pitted surface texture.
