Description
Cast copper alloy cruciform brooch. Trapezoidal central panel decorated with punchmarks, with indented rectangular wings and half round top and side knobs. High-arched bow with sub-rectangular section areas at top and bottom. Flat panel then top of foot decorated with transverse grooved lines. Horse head foot with grooved brows, protruding eyes and flaring nostrils and rounded lip terminal. On reverse the catchplate and pin bar lug are present. Pitted surface texture.
