Description

Cast copper alloy small long cruciform brooch. Square headplate with perforated circular hole and with flat half-crescent top and side knobs. High-arched bow with rectangular section areas at top and bottom. The foot is decorated with transverse grooved lines, flaring to a triangular terminal. On the reverse are the remains of the pin bar lug and catchplate. The headplate and knobs are worn. Pitted surface throughout.
