Description
Cast copper alloy cruciform brooch. Square central panel decorated with punchmarks and rectangular wings; half round side and top knobs. High-arched bow with rectangular section areas at top and bottom. Flat panel composed of two rectangular sections, one decorated with punchmarks close to the edges, one with two converging lines of punchmarks. Horse head terminal with grooved brows, protruding eyes and comma shaped nostrils. Pin bar lug and catchplate present on reverse.
