Description

Cast copper alloy small long cruciform brooch. Raised square central panel decorated with punchmarks; bifurcated half-crescent side and top flat knobs with punchmarks along outer edge. High-arched bow with longitudinal groove down centre and rectangular section areas at top and bottom. Flat panel with rounded lappets decorated with punchmarks. Foot decorated with transverse grooved lines; bifurcated half crescent terminal decorated with punchmarks. Pin bar lug and catchplate present on reverse. Damage to top knob and right lappet.
