Description
Copper alloy purse frame fragment with L-shaped cross section, bent into a spiralled circle. Frame features seven stitch-holes along one edge with four clustered at one end; exterior surface features incised double-strand lattice pattern. One end of frame is broken and missing, the other features a broken semi-circle, likely part of the attachment point to the associated purse bar.

1913.333 A and 1913.333 B were previously displayed together on a single display board. The original accession register description from 1913 suggests that they were thought to be two parts of the same object. Following further examination in 2023, it was determined that they likely originated from two separate, unrelated objects.
