Accession No
1901.213
Description
Worked long-bone point or awl. Almost squared off at widest end, gradually tapering to a point. Circular perforation at widest end, with three incised lines forming a star decoration beneath. Deep pit adjacent to this appears to be a natural occurrence in the shape of the bone; additional incised line over the top of this. Underside is textured along half of its length, showing beginnings of the natural pitting at the centre of the bone. Otherwise smoothed and polished.
