Description

Large jug of white ware, Type 163 A. It has a rounded body, that tapers in towards a narrow base and footring, and is wider at the shoulder. It has a fairly long, narrow neck with concave sides that is decorated with a series of grooves and bulged bands. It has two handles, one on each side of the neck. Gallo Belgic. Reconstructed from sherds and plaster infill.
