Description

Small bowl, of grey brown native ware with soapy burnished finish, wheel-made, with concave neck, short humped shoulder and carinated body. A groove encircles the base of the neck and the shoulder and the well defined base is slightly dished. Gallo Belgic. It has been reconstructed from sherds and infill, but this has failed and the vessel is now in multiple pieces.
