Context (CMS Context)
This object was on display at the Sedgwick Museum from 2005 until autumn 2016, along with seven other objects from MAA, as 'Neolithic artifacts. From Fen peat at Burnt Fen, Littleport, Cambs.', despite the fact this object actually comes from Burwell Fen. This particular object had an individual label as well: 'Laurel-leaf point'. Whilst there, it was assigned a temporary Sedgwick number (TN 4958). No loan paperwork has been found in either institution, and it is quite likely that the loan took place well before 2005.

2. Printed and overlaid the above: '43'.
3. Handwritten: 'Burwell Fen, 1848. C.A.S., 1883'.
4. Handwritten: 'C.A.S. 83.94'
