On catalogue card 1: 'Parts of four polished flint axes; a polished stone axe; eleven roughly flaked flint axes or adzes; 2 flint knives and three flint scrapers of various types.'

Context (Acquisition Details)
The original card for 1953.151 has the following entry: "These were in the collection of the late Mr L.D. Pratt and are not all labelled, though his main collecting ground seems to have been: Ayres Farm, Bottisham Fen (mostly in the 1920s)". Subsequent catalogue cards for a subsection of 1953.151 give the Place as Peacock's Farm, Shippea Hill and it is unclear whether this was due to further research or was in error.

As this axe fragment does not appear on one of the subsequent catalogue cards with the updated location of Peacock's Farm, Shippea Hill (see above), and it is not marked with any identifying place name, the Place field retains the site location from the original catalogue card: Ayres Farm, Bottisham Lode, Bottisham.
