Context (Amendments / updates)
Lethbridge and O'Reilly (see Contexts) note the hoard 'has been acquired for the Museum chiefly through the energies of Mr Oliver Rottman and Mr C.S. Leaf to whom the Museum is much indebted; it was purchased with part of the C.A.S. grant.'. It does not say in what capacity Rottman and Leaf aided the CAS and the Museum in the acquisition of the hoard.
