The contents of one card are reproduced above in the main entry, second card states: " 1 axe/adze... gravel supplied by Earith Sand and Gravel Co from gravel workings just to the east of Earith village" . The provenance is given as " Huntingdonshire" . Object marked with: " gravel heap Midsummer Common, Cambridge" . and label with object states: " Found by Mr William Powell in a gravel heap on Midsummer Common, Cambridge. The gravel was supplied to the corporation by the Earith Sand and Gravel Co. and came from their gravel workings in Earith Fen just to the east of Earith village."
