On 13 April 2015, Ilan Smeyatsky, MSc student at the University of Witwatersrand, examined this idno. When accessioned into the collection in 1904, they had all been identified as arrowheads (despite an enclosed note, identifying at least some flakes). Upon examination, Mr Smeyatsky identified no arrowheads but instead 27 flakes, 4 points, 1 scraper, 1 backed segment and 1 side scraper from the Later Stone Age or Neolithic. The description has been added accordingly, as has the Period, which was previously unknown.
