Description

Shouldered pot with longitudinal shoulder bosses and flat base. Below neck, transverse bands of single stamp and chevrons interspersed by two transverse grooves. Across the shoulder and body are stamp and groove filled pendant triangles. Four stamps used. Incomplete, rim is missing; nine sherds present.

Four notes were found with Z 29649[.1-.3] in a bag together. Three notes are written in Cyril Fox's hand relating material to Girton College (see related documents) with the other remaining note, written in a different hand, specifying object association with Francis John Henry Jenkinson bequest in 1906 (see related documents). Due to these labels having been stored together, it is unclear which objects these notes relate to.
