Description

Anglo-Saxon pot sherds and one Samian sherd. Comb with Gr. 54. 'One small piece of bone found, although it does not form part of a comb. Only the base and the lower half of the pot present. Several sherds present, probably from different vessels. Also found, with old label "G 60" 5 sherds which comprise most of the base and part of the body of a grey/black patterned vessel with six sets of long vertical bosses in groups of 3 interspersed with vertically marked incised lines and stamps (crosses and S shapes). Placed with other objects with this idno in the absence of any other indication of identity. K. Sutton 9/5/2001
