Description

Shouldered globular pot with everted rim and obtuse-angled, flat base. Decorated below rim with four parallel grooves, then row of stamps, then a row of alternating stamps. Extending over shoulder are four-lined chevrons; every alternate filled with stamps; bounded by three parallel grooves. At least two stamp types present. Evidence of possible heat spalling. Reconstructed from sherds; two sherds detached but present. Sections of rim, body and base missing.

Kate Sutton:'Most of the rim, part of the body and the base broken off and missing. The pot is comprised of many sherds glued back together, there are two sherds broken off but present. The pot is decorated with incised lines, grooves and stamped decoration.'
