The 1982 Catalogue has the following entry: Z 38849-Z 38863 All this material was found in bags labelled " Island" or " salt lake" (although this is uncertain for Z 38663). No other provenance is given but they were found mainly with Sirte material and probably come from the area of the Sirte basin. They were collected in 1961 by an expedition including Wilfred Shawcross, Mary Cra' ster and Glyn Issacs." From a bag labelled " No. 27 Island 7 General" 5 shells and ostrich egg shell fragments
