Context (Amendments / updates)
This accession number does not tally with the object described in the Accession Register as 1895.142, which is why its suffix was /Record 2. It instead refers to the Annual Report number, AR 1895.142 and the accession number field has been modified accordingly. An Accession Register entry for this object has not been identified, and may not exist.

Context (Amendments / updates)
Although this object apparently does not have an Accession Register entry, the site and excavator are made clear by the excavation date on one of the object labels. This tallies with the order in which it was entered in the Annual Report: the second object in the list of urns from 'Cambridge, Girton and Barrington'. Jekinson has been added to the Source field as excavator. He may have been the donor as well, but so too may have Girton College itself. Both have been added tentatively.
