Description

Copper alloy small long brooch; trapezoidal head with pairs of grooves on the outside edge and rectangular projections decorated around the outside edges with crescent punchmarks. Arched bow with a faint central ridge; footplate is decorated with groups of ridges with a flared terminal decorated on the outer edge with crescent punchmarks; a small portion of the corner has come away and is missing. Pin bar lug is fully intact; catchplate is mostly intact.
