Context (Field collection)
South side of Latham road, fourth house from main road, 26 November 1923. Gravel subsoil, upright 1 foot below the surface. Found while digging foundations. No associated finds in neighbourhood, but on 2 sides ground only examined for a short distance.

Tub-shaped, with crudely punched out base and rim with incised lines marked in, and slightly turned inwards.

Description (Physical description)
A vessel of red brown fabric with a slightly inverted rim, rounded sides and a flat base. The top of the rim is decorated with short grooves. Reconstructed from sherds and plaster.
