Originally dated as Early Iron Age, but examined by Matthew Brundenell, Cambridge Archaeological Unit, in 2008 who identified it as Late Bronze Age Plainware Post Deverel-Rimbury, c. 1150-800 BC. The Period and Description have therefore been updated accordingly.
