Context (Found together / assemblage)
The Accession Register notes that Z 16401 - Z 16415 (excluding Z 16406) were 'found in M.C. Burkitt's room, 1974'. At least one (Z 16408) was collected by Thomas McKenny Hughes, so Burkitt may not have collected some or any of them. It may be that they entered the museum by other means and were not registered until after they were found in his office in 1974, or lost association with their original accession number.
