There has been some petrographic analysis of this stone axe, evident from cuttings, however the date and results from this are unknown. The axe has been marked 'CAM 93 Thetford, Ely'.

Description (Physical description)
A small stone axe, one face is slightly more angled than the other. The blade edge is in good condition with wear to one side. There are some chips to the butt end.
