Context (Amendments / updates)
In the distribution list detailed in Brunton's Matmar, see References, this point is noted as going to the University Museum, Munich. However studying this list it appears that there were some mistakes made - objects sent to different institutions than those that were noted. Investigation into this point, and in communication with Dr Arnulf Schluter of the Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst München, it has been determined that this point is most likely that which appears on plate LII no. 47 in Brunton's excavation report. Therefore, the distribution list, in this instance is incorrect and the point came to MAA and not Munich
